The greatest ever african player

Greatest Italian Football Club

The greatest ever african player

Greatest Italian Football ClubFC Monaco France footballkallon_fc

With all the talk about South Africa and the up coming FIFA World Cup its easy to forget that Africa is a west place! Plenty of funny and bizarre things happen in Africa and one story that really tickled me this week was about Mohammed Kallon.

Remember him? Yeah thats right, the former Inter and Monaco forward and on of the hottest young players of his generation. Well he failed so badly that not only did he go back to Sierra Leon but set up his own club and made himslef Chairman, Manager, Captin and of course main man! Just when i thought that was west enough, he comes up with a perfect name for the club. Yes you got it! FC KALLON!!!! Mint, i love africans, always good for some entertainment. But the best part is, that his club was so rubbish….despite him still being by far the greatest ever player to come out of there (if not the greatest ever human) he sold himself to a Chinese club! I hope they know what they are letting themselves in for out east!

Hull City Sack The Tanned Leader

Unlucky Phil Brown Sacked by Hull City

Unlucky Phil Brown Sacked by Hull City

I have to admit that i am not Phil Browns biggest fan, however i do feel really sorry for him being sacked by Hull. There must be something gbut who can going on behind the scenes but who knows? The funny thing about this is that the favourite to replace Phil Brown is Gary Megson. The thinking of getting rid of brown must be to gain the new manager uplift with only 10 games left and try to secure their place in the premier league. What is the point in employing Gary Megson though if rumours are to be beleived? Gary Megson could not motivate himself to go for a shit if needed and the Bolton fans were aware of that from start to finish. The appointment (if goes ahead) will be even more underwhelming than Brian Laws to Burnley and will surely see Hull going down with Burnley and Portsmouth. I feel sorry for Brown and the fans but it seems the board are making some terrible decisions.

Robbie Savage is a Goalkeeper

Welsh Comic Robbie Savage takes a goal kick

Welsh Comic Robbie Savage takes a goal kick

The Legend that is Robbie Savage had to play over half the game in net last night as Derby Crashed to a 4-1 away defeat to an in form Reading side. With Derby loosing 2 keepers in the first half, manager Nigel Clough had no option other than to select one of the outfield players and it was funny Welshman Savage who got the nod. Savage took the gloves in the 41st minute when the substitute Saul Deeney was shown a red card on his Rams debut and pulled off a stunning second-half save before being beaten. Deeney had come on less than half an hour earlier when Stephen Bywater was injured. I dont think this will be a considered extension to his playing days when he retires however!!!!
