A recent Brazilian league match decended into chaos last weekend and had to be abandonned as riot police were called onto the pitch by the referee and then proceeded to pepper spray some of the players. Amazing !!! Apparently, a player had been sent off but refused to leave the pitch so the referee called his boys in to sort him out. Genus defender Robson was shown a red card after a tackle in the second-half. They were losing to Moto Clube 3-0. After the incident, the Genus coach and seven players resigned accusing the referee of racism.
