So big Sol has left Notts County after just 1 game at the centre of their team where they played away to Morcambe. The club as released a statement stating he left by mutual consent but none of the actuall reasons have been detailed. I wonder what is going on or if Sol simply realised he had made a mistake and did not have the desire to commit to the lengthy contract he had signed with Notts County. Many people (especially spurs fans) take the view that he runs down his contract so that he can demand a huge sign on fee at his next club as they will get him on a free transfer, such as when he signed for Arsenal. I however feel that he is an honourable player and servant to club and country. I think he signs a contract that he intends to honour fully and then when it is up for renewal, decide what is best for him then. I dont see anything wrong with this and think its about time spurs fans forgive him. It is of course now being talked about that he could move to spurs due to their defensive crisis but i cannot see that happening. I do wonder where he will end up though but only time will tell. I would like to see him in the premiership for 1 last season if he still has desires to go to South Africa and im sure theres plently of clubs that would take a gamble on him should they be able to afford his wages.
